Issue a well oiled speech abolishing any and all laws restricting or altering amendments or banning any portion of said amendment. Reiterate there is a reason these rights were instituted in the first place, and apologize for allowing this to have gone as far as it has. Then call on the American people to petition for a more comprehensive solution like metal detectors (not body image scanners people get more on edge with that stuff) implement some funds to assist states acquire these types of measures. If you make sure you guarantee none of our rights will change you will take back the country's support and confidence in the government.
