Restore Tuition Assistance to United States Coast Guard by Ammending HR 933.

Created by C.S. on March 21, 2013

On March 21, 2013, Congress voted to restore the military's tuition assistance program. Unfortunately, Senator Inhofe's amendment only reverses the decision to suspend tuition assistance by the Department of Defense. Coast Guard funding is included in the government funding bill HR 933. The decision not to include the Coast Guard's tuition assistance program in Senator Inhofe's amendment is counter-productive to the men and women that honorably serve our country in the United States Coast Guard who depend on this resource to further enhance their educational aspirations. We the people demand that HR 933 be amended to require that the Coast Guard reverse its decision and offer their brave men and women the opportunity to utilize tuition assistance.
