I believe that the abandoned town of Pripyat, Ukraine has been releasing dangerous radioactive material into the air. On February 23, 2013 which released thousands of tons of radioactive material into the air . I think and i know that it will take a very long time to fully recover the town from this and a lot of stress but it is a big factor for saving the environment.
