We ask that the President & Congress restores funding to UNESCO, up to & including repealing the law barring funding from any humanitarian aid group that deals directly with the Palestinian people. UNESCO's programs bring much needed services to the poorest and most needy populations, including many programs that benefit our allies and interests world-wide. We believe that cutting this much-needed funding will serve only to undermine our credibility with the rest of the world and force undue hardship on innocent peoples.
