restore USPS Saturday service

Created by D.S. on February 06, 2013

RESOLVED, the United States Postal Service ("USPS") has been in difficult financial constraints for the last few years;

RESOLVED, the USPS has ended Saturday service with the aim of saving $2 billion per year;

RESOLVED, the USPS budget is hampered by onerous union laws and payments that are dully unnecessary;

THEREFORE, we implore the President and Congress to restore Saturday service, reform the onerous pension system of the USPS. We find that while USPS workers deserve pensions, it should not be at the exaggerated expense of the People's mail service.
