Thousands of US military personnel were dishonorable discharged under DADT.
Now that DADT had been repealed, it's time to restore the honors and benefits due to the brave men and women discharged under that discriminatory policy.
Those removed from service under the law should have their discharges reverted to 'honorable' status and be given access to the benefits and services due to all other veterans.
This should also include veterans discharged under any other previous regulation in regard to their sexual orientation.
Service persons no longer living should also have their discharges ammended allowing access to the honors and benefits due a veteran decedent's family.
