Restore Visual Artist Fellowships. We urge the President and Congress to repeal Public Law 104-134, Section 328 (a).

Created by J.W. on May 09, 2013

We request that the National Endowment for the Arts provide Visual Artist Fellowships. Categories will include Drawing, Sculpture, Painting and Photography.

Categories will be open to artists of all styles, reflective of American art. Fellowship awards will be determined by the merit of the work--10 samples.

The Agency will ensure that the Fellowship competition and panels will be open to both fine and commercial artists. State agencies receiving NEA funds will ensure that artists of all styles--commercial or fine art; conceptual, abstract, realist, comic book illustration, street art, etc., all have the same opportunity to compete for Fellowships and serve on panels.

Visual Artist Fellowships will benefit American art and artists.
