Restore the voting rights for citizens convicted of non-violent drug-related felonies.

I do not believe there is any reason someone's right to vote should be taken away for smoking a joint. Our country has the highest rate of prisoner's per capita in the world. Of these prisoners the majority of felons are African-American or hispanic. Whether this is racist or not we are disenfranchising people for crimes of vice hurting only themselves and other willing participants. Making our morality law and then taking away the right to vote from people with differing viewpoints. In some area's of the country this as close to resembling modern slavery as I have ever seen; employing the people of the county to keep the ones they don't like in a cage for profit. All while we pay for it. Sure, drugs are potentially dangerous, but so is riding a bike.
