Citiizens United has created an unprecedented amount of corporate money flooding our government and legislative bodies. This money has been used to influence lawmakers, and have blazed a trail toward destruction of environmental protection laws. These laws are clearly needed, if we are to protect America's most valuable resources, land, water and air- not to mention human health and life. As fracking slowly encroaches on our country, American citiizens increasingly find themselves in horrendous situations: contaminated water, dead livestock, sickness and even death, with no recourse against the companies that have caused this devastation. Fracking is unsafe, and has proven to be contrary to public health and well being. We need to follow Germany, and say no fracking in the United States.
