The Obama administration's decision to remove wolves from ESA protection was premature and politically motivated. Policy on wildlife and the environment should be decided by scientists, not politicians and the special interest groups that give them money.
Wolves are an important part of the ecosystem, have always been here and have the right to live free, wild and undisturbed by humans.
The reason for their removal, to artificially boost game animals and protect farm animals is ridiculous, as their impact on such issues is negligible, lower than 1% for farm animal predation. As for killing wild animals, they do have a right to eat and survive.
Polls have shown most Americans to support protecting wildlife, including wolves. It's time to end this new slaughter before it's too late.
