Restrict access to ammunition.

This is a petition to limit access to ammunition. First, access to ammunition should be limited to ammo checked out either from the local police department, or a licensed gun range. Access to ammunition would be limited to gun ranges and ammo check outs for hunting seasons. Ammo would be checked out from the regulating authority, it would be counted, and after use the unused ammo and spent shell casings and cartridges would be returned and the count verified. Any extra ammo would be held by the authority until the next check out occasion. The gun owner must state his need for ammo in writing prior to check out.
