Before we begin:
Benzodiazepine. A class of drug that is widely used to treat anxiety. The drugs in this class are also widely abused. Examples of benzodiazepines include but are not limited to Alprazolam, Temazepam, Lorazepam. and Diazepam.
For example:
If we have 100 students in a class and 20 of them see a psychiatrist and tell their psychiatrist that their school work is stressing them out, why should they get access to benzodiazepines (a widely abused class of drugs), while 80 students do not require the use of a benzodiazepine?
They shouldn't. They should just drop out. Or switch majors. Because obviously they don't belong in their program.
These 100 students experience equal obstacles. 20 of them don't need special treatment.
