Restrict all cell Phone manufacturers to releasing ONE device per year.

Cell phone manufacturers are currently at war with each other, frequently trying to produce as many cell phone models as they can to flood the shelves. Behind all these shiny new phones is a billion dollar market of accessories, such as plastic cases, cables, covers, adapters, docks, etc etc. The cost to our environment of all these plastic products having short usage cycles is immense. Consider everything from the natural resources to transport to advertising to disposal, for all these products. There should be legislation to control the frequency and number of different 'models' of cell phones and other electronic equipment that each manufacturer can produce per year, especially when these 'new' models are just incremental upgrades to the previous one.
