restrict the amount of time people can campaign before elections.

Created by S.G. on December 11, 2011

All campaigning should be restricted to two months before the election in which the person is running. This should include interviews, press conferences, advertising, mailing campaign material and any other form of explanation regarding why they would be best in the position for which they are running.
If the election is a primary, all campaigning shall cease after the vote until two months before the final election.
We believe that our elected officials should be paying attention to their current jobs rather than spending all their time campaigning for their next job.
