The marijuana industry stands to make the federal government millions in tax revenues in the coming years. Put policy in place preventing big business from taking over the industry that the small business owner has built. Allowing corporations to simply slide into this sector with out any care for the folks who staked everything to build it would be a travesty. Make this the first industry in America that rewards the small business owner to invest in the local community and provide better paying jobs. Give that owner advantages to growing and sharing wealth locally and disadvantages to the publicly traded business model.
