restrict digital age ticket scalpers from buying all concert tickets therefore pricing out average consumers.

Created by J.S. on February 23, 2014

StubHub and other simliar operations facilitate today's digital age ticket scalpers, who make money digitally buying all tickets in seconds and then raising ticket prices significantly to almost any concert, theatre performance or sporting event. Recently, within a minute or two of "5 Seconds of Summer" USA concert tickets going on sale, we allege all tickets were digitally purchased by professional online ticket scalpers thereby elevating the ticket price greatly. The average consumer was shut out of the buying process and now has to pay more than triple the original ticket price! We ask the Obama Administration to stop this predatory practice to unfairly raise consumer prices and give everyone equal opportunity to purchase tickets at a reasonable and first advertised price.
