Our petition request that federal funding be halted, or greatly restricted for law enforcement agencies with multiple records of civil rights violations under "color of authority".
Overwhelming data indicates that minorities are disproportionally targeted by law enforcement, and internal investigations of citizen complaints are overlooked in the majority of the cases.
Our chief aim is that there be more transparency regarding: 1) Officer Complaints; 2) Domestic Violence Calls regarding officers; 3) Video recording of every traffic and pedestrian stops; and 4) Mandatory annual community service by officer within the communities they serve.
