15 of 25 worlds worst massive shootings were in the U.S. As students concerned with school safety, we feel schools should have panic buttons in class and close caption video in the school. The CEO of the NRA, recently remarked, "I believe trained, qualified, armed security is one key component among many that can provide the first line of deterrence as well as the last line of defense." It does sound safe, but why are encouraging gun violence? why not restrict how they're made and sold? Instead of 36 round guns, why not 10? 50% of killers obtain their guns legally through major retailers like Wal-Mart.
So we petition that the government restrict how guns are made and create better security for schools around the nation.
