Whereas the President's address of 11-20-14 announced plans to reform immigration law;
Whereas the actions announced are contrary to existing law which can only be constitutionally changed by Congressional action;
Whereas this is only the latest example of the President acting beyond the bounds of the U.S. Constitution;
And whereas other examples include, recently announced intentions involving international agreements pertaining to climate change which are not planned for submission to the Senate for advice and consent; changing provisions of the Affordable Care Act; expansion of the powers of the Environmental Protection Agency;
We the undersigned respectfully request the President cease all such unconstitutional actions and act consistently with his oath of office.
