There should be a cap on the number of years a representative can serve in the senate and/or the congress. The President is only allotted 4 years with the potential of 4 more in a second election win. Senators and Congresspersons should not be allowed to serve through multiple administrations, but should be allotted the same as the President.
This will assure we do not have the same people representing us for long periods of time up to life-long terms. Such lengths in service as our representatives creates disconnect with the people of America, and does not allow them to continue getting richer and making our decisions based on their paychecks and profits.
Along with this, it should be illegal for for government officials to make deals with corporations.
