Whereas in some measure the mass killings such as those at Sandy Hill Elementary School and Aurora are judged by mental health professionals to have been exacerbated by the understanding that the perpetrators will be made famous for their actions, this petition seeks to remove such motivations by erasing from public record the names and faces of those responsible for such acts, by preventing their publication for one full year, until such time as they can be remembered only in a sober frame of mind.
