I am the mother of a 10 year little girl who was let down by our corrupt & inadequate justice system. My baby girl was just 6 years old when her 15 year old stepbrother began raping her. For years, this abuse continued and went unknown of until my daughter came to me the day before her 10th birthday and confided in me what happened to her. I followed every legal step I was instructed to. I cooperated with every aspect of the case. But due to detectives failing to do their job effectively and a know It all assistant district attorney who REFUSED to listen to or work with me, the mother of this child, this child rapist was found not guilty and walks freely among us to hurt again, to hurt more! Revoke their right to double jeopardy when our innocent children are victims of their crime
