This petition is to limit the terms of Senators and House of representatives to three terms (12 years). The elected postion is a public service position and should not be a lifetime career. Let us work together for the best possible outcomes for our country. The partisan lines of politics is outrageous and disconcerning when it comes to security of our country and what is best for us to move forward. Elected officials should do what is best for the public, not according to their political ties and investment concerns. Let us vote to limit terms, so that more Americans may have a positive influence in our government. Limiting terms of elected officials should also alleviate special interest groups that influence our policies too often. Thank You for your time!
