Restrict the United States Secret Service, to carrying only the same type of weapons, as available to the general public

The President recently signed into law, that past presidents are granted Secret Servie protection for life, rather then for 10 years, as was the past limit. This will cost tax payers millions of dollars, we can not afford.
Therefore, if the Presdient is intent in creating, allowing, or inacting an Executive Order, to limit the types of weapons the American Public is allowed to own or purchase to protect our families, the Secret Service should be bound by law, to the same restrictions and laws for the weapons they are allowed to carry.
We the people need to stop the double standard that continues between the American Public, and the Public Officials WE choose to put in office.
Politicians already have better pay, better health insurance, free security, all at tax payers cost.
