As stated by the NRA, an AR-15 operates just like any other semi-automatic rifle, and should be treated the same. We agree and suggest the follow law to make the AR-15 and other such weapons no more offensive than any other hunting style of defensive style weapon. The following is similar to current law in Washington DC.

No person on shall possess, sell, or transfer any large capacity ammunition feeding device regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm. For the purposes of this section, the term “large capacity ammunition feeding device” means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition for a pistol round, or 5 rounds of ammunition for a
