Drone strikes were meant to deliver precise and lethal force to those that present an imminent threat to America with minimal impact to innocent civilians.
However as we have recently learned, the definition of imminent has been broadened so wide in that it is no longer an applicable term to what is actually happening; our government is killing people because they look like someone who might be doing something that might be a threat to America. We do not know if these human beings represent a true imminent threat and therefore should not be subject to lethal force until continued surveillance confirms their intentions.
Please revise the drone strike policy by eliminating signature strikes and realigning the process of deciding threat level with the true definition of immanency.
