We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Restricting the use and possession of guns and firearms in the United States.

Created by R.A. on June 12, 2016

In the past year there have been 397 mass shootings in the USA alone, where the most recent occurred in Orlando, Fl. which claimed the life 50 people at the Pulse nightclub, making it the deadliest mass murder since 9/11.

We are asking that restrictions be placed on anybody who wishes to possess a firearm such as:
• Ensuring that they are fully trained and qualified to use firearms at the same standard as those in Federal Law Enforcement.
• Undergo psychiatric evaluations & routine firearms training every 6-12 months to ensure they are still competent to be handling firearms.
• Undergo a routine background check.
• For every individual purchase of a firearm to be recorded.
• Have a justifiable reason.
• For semi-automatic weapons to be taken off the market.

Things need to change.
