The American education system as it is is a dangerous institution that cares nothing about student health or happiness, just performance and attendance.
I petition the Obama administration to restructure the American education system, so that student physical AND mental health is put before school attendance or performance
Students will preform better in an environment where their happiness and mental health is not trampled upon by bad teachers and excessive amounts of schoolwork/homework that take up valuable rest and free time that the student needs.
Please create a higher standard for hiring teachers, to ensure that students are getting a quality education that is enjoyable, limit the amount of homework a teacher can give daily, and decrease the amount of existing standardized tests
