Federal Government employees, in reality, are no different from any other American, and, as such, should not be afforded lavish salaries for the jobs they do.
I propose the salary structure for the government be restructured to represent fair pay for fair work, and be based on actual revenues available to the country. I feel that salaries should not be higher than $100,000/yr for any government official, and all raises should be voted on by the people in a general election.
In addition, the employees should not be provided health care, but should have to obtain their own coverage.
