When the Ukraine crisis began between the US and Russia, congress claimed that politics between the two countries would not affect relations in space. In the past weeks we have seen this is not the case and NASA and Roscosmos have been barred from working with each other. This decision will only have negative consequences on scientific advances and foreign relations. The White House needs to end this pointless blockade. As stated in the Space Treaty "common heritage of all mankind", this blockade does nothing but damage that heritage.
