U.S. officials plan to relinquish federal government control over administration of the Internet to ICANN, who will gift oversight/management to a currently undefined "global" entity. This president's legendary ideology of forfeiting taxpayer-paid American innovation with the scratch of his pen while ignoring American interests & world-wide consumer protection & freedom for geo/political posturing rather than practical or secure benefit is imminent. To even consider such a decision confirms it. Any such action would be irresponsible while concerns of ICANN's stewardship, massive expansion & potential conflicts of interest remain unaddressed.
This is a red line Americans MUST be serious about enforcing. STOP before irreparable damage is done-even if that is exactly this president’s intent.
