Rethink '16 1.3% raise for federal employees, we've done our fair share with 6 yrs total of 2%. GS 9 & lower need more.

From 2010 - 2015, Federal employees have received a 1% raise in 2014 and 1% in 2015. Our cost of living is so much higher, our health care costs, food costs, property taxes and insurance have gone up so much more than that. Most families were already struggling and families who have GS 9 or lower wage parents are struggling even more now. This isn't helping the economy because we can't spend money we don't have to help the economy grow. We've done more than our fair share over the past 6 years. Please reconsider the 1.3% raise for federal employees for 2016.
