Rethink the current drinking age regulations for our Armed Forces.

Created by N.M. on May 29, 2013

A large portion of our military strength comes from young men and women under the age of 21. Up until the mid 80's they could still consume alcohol on base regardless of the legal drinking age off base. The age old argument is that if you can fight and die for your country, you should be able to drink as well.In a nonscientific poll done online 88% of the 1,323 respondents said military personal should be able to drink regardless of age. These young men and women are not like many who are the same age, they are required to grow up faster and have more responsibility. This should be enough to trust them with alcohol.
