There should be no formula to gain citizenship for illegal immigrants. This will not create any deterrent/incentive to further secure our borders.
Questions that need to be answered should include:
a) Time frame of illegal residence that will qualify for a "get out of jail card" until citizenship is acquired.
b) The cost incurred by legal citizens for background checks.
c) What documentation will be acquired in order to determine if back taxes are owed?
d) Will Child Tax credits obtained illegally through Individual Tax Identification Numbers ITTN be a required reimbursement to the government?
As legal citizens we must be extremely diligent regarding Immigration Reform based on Illegal Status.
