Rethinking the Current Administration's Foreign Policy Regarding the Current Egyptian Administration and Mr. Morsi

Created by F.M. on June 17, 2013

To the President of the United States of America:

The U.S. has long been a role model as a country of principles, a nation that values democracy, representative government and rule of law. Since his election in 6/30/13, here is a sample of actions by Egyptian President Mr. Morsi that violates these beliefs:

1- Declaring his decisions above the rule of law as in his constitutional deceleration in Nov 12;
2- Over 2500 cases of detaining activists and journalists for "insulting the president";
3- He appointed a convicted terrorist as the Luxor governor;
4- His supporters often carry al-Qaeda flags; and
5- His supporters classify the majority of his opposition as traitors, infidels, or Christians;

Therefore, we the undersigned hope that the U.S. changes its policy toward Morsi's regime.
