As a retired National Guard veteran, I would like to petition all National Guard and Reservist to have equal retirement pension entitlements as any active service member of the United States Armed Forces. A National Guardsman and Reservist that have served 20+ years and retired honorably should not have to wait till age 60 to collect their retirement pension. They are not provided equal benefits to the active service and therefore, its a shame that the law, policies and benefits have not changed for years to service the retiree.
