We the people petition that the Obama administration retract all unneccasary US military basses that have been set up around the world. The United States has around 800 publically known active military basses. I do recognize that more than half of these military basses are neccasary to the protection, safety, and well-being of our country. In contrast I also believe that there are a great number of US military bases that have little to no purpose. For example, the Unites States' long term presence in Germany is uncalled for. But yet ones in Israel are nessecary. If the US retracts unnessacary bases then the previous funding to them will stop and save the US a great amount of money that the country should be useing for other purposes.
