Whereas, the Department of Health and Human Services requires religious employers and religious institutions to provide their employees with health insurance that covers sterilization, contraception, and abortifacients.
Whereas, this coverage may violate the teachings and/or consciences of individuals or institutions.
Whereas, the freedom to exercise one's religion as he/she sees fit is a cornerstone of American ideals.
Therefore, we the undersigned petition the Obama Administration to retract in full the mandate issued by the Department of Health and Human Services.
