Since the NFA in 1934, only one registered weapon has been used in a homicide. If our president and his administration truly cared about gun crime and felon possession, they would start with prosecuting the 100,000+ cases of felons attempting to purchase weapons by lying on Form 4473. The reason individuals use trusts to purchase registered firearms is to bypass CLEOs who deny us of our constitutional right to own them. Felons are not buying $20k+ items, spending hundreds on a trust, another $200 on a tax stamp, and waiting 9 months for the item. This executive order is strictly to hurt law abiding gun owners and slowly chip away at more of our rights.
