With our economy struggling, our Government Divided and unable to work for the benefit of all people in our country, our President deems it necessary to raise the pay of all members of the US House, the US Senate, The Executive Branch and Supreme Court. This petition condemns this action and asks the President to retract Sections 5, 6, and 7 of this Executive Order. These Sections are the Executive Branch (Section 5), the VP and the Members of Congress (Senate and House, Section 6) and the Members of the Supreme Court (Section 7) This pay raise will effect cost the US 1 Billion dollars annually. Merit raises are to be awarded on the Basis of Merit. A Link to the order is attached below.
