Retract the new raises for political figures.

After all of the fiscal cliff hype, Congress has decided to raise the tax rate for incomes over 400,000 and 450,000 for families. They have also allowed social security to increase to 6.2% as well. I am perfectly fine with these increases, but I do not agree with the pay raises that political figures are receiving. If you are a political figure making over 150,000, you are already making more than enough from the tax payers in this country considering the fact that you could not solve this issue in a timely fashion. I was frustrated at the fact that congress was taking breaks for the holidays instead of focusing on this issue. Mr. Obama, if we are trying to reduce our spending and deficit, then why are you handing out raises when we do not have the money to do so
