Retract the State Departments false statements downplaying the kidnapping and murder of 21 Coptic Christians in Libya

Created by D.B. on February 15, 2015

On Friday February 13th, 2015 when asked by a member of the press to identify a video by ISIL/ISIS as an attack on Coptic Christians, Spokesperson Jen Psaki declined despite the kidnappers saying they would execute the 21 men specifically for being Coptic Christians

She stated, "I think I would look at this or the way we look at this, I should say is more about Libya than it is about Egypt."

On February 15th a video was released showing the horrific beheading of the 21 men wherein their Christian faith was again cited by the kidnappers as the reason for their murders.

We petition the White House to issue a retraction of this false characterization made by the State Department and ask for an official statement by Ms.Psaki apologizing for the dangerous misrepresentation of the facts.
