The elderly need the possibility to be released from California board and cares and senior homes. The elderly who have been through many recessions deserve the money they have received and should not lose it because of hospital costs. They should have the opportunity to live and die in their own homes. They need retroactive social security payments to do this. They also deserve to be able to have comfortable retirements where they can visit with family, go on a holiday, and spend their own earnings. Retroactive payments and on-going social security payments would help with all of these issues.
