U.S. Constitution: "The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it."
There is no rebellion. There is no invasion.
As Americans we demand our core civil liberty be restored. We don't accept Obama's no-use justification for signing away our freedoms that rest on our 3rd Amendment right.
The last president to suspend habeas corpus for American citizens on American soil was Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War and was mostly limited to Maryland.
President George W. Bush suspended habeas corpus but only for aliens not on American soil.
The U.S. Military is now authorized to pick up and indefinitely imprison US citizens on American soil without charge or trial.
