Return the amount of signatures need on petitions on petitions.whitehouse.gov back to the original 25,000.

We ask that the amount of petitions needed be restored to 25,000. We feel that the change in policy is an effort to not have to respond to sensitive issues. We understand that it may be in part due to some rather non-serious petitions gaining immense support (mainly Death Star). However, if the taxpayers want to waste your time on useless, silly petitions like Death Star then it is our right to do so and it is your responsibility to provide a response. We feel that petitions.whitehouse.gov can be an extremely valuable tool for the people to express what is important to them and that the quadrupling of the amount of signatures needed shows the White House's desire to only respond to issues that are important to the White House and to skirt around real issues.
