Return the amount of signatures required for a petition to receive an official response to 25,000.

Created by A.H. on January 17, 2013

The Obama administration recently raised the amount of signatures for a petition to receive an official response from the White house from 25,000 signatures to 100,000. The raise was due to petitions created by critics of the administration becoming rather popular. The quadrupling of the amount of signatures restricts issues and opinions that need to be heard from receiving a response. This is a "government of the people, by the people, for the people." If the people's voice cannot be heard then we are being denied our rights. Speak up, be heard.
