Bring back the Arts to our schools, it is a health care issue. Healing with the Arts can help children express themselves in powerful ways allowing them to express the pain, hurt and despair of growing up in a stressful and confusing world.
Stop criminalizing students as a way of discipline!!!. Create a language of caring and cherishing our youth, honoring them and encouraging their growth. Remove Police in the schools and bring in Artists in residence. Invite the students to make art, not violence. Create alternatives for their need for expression!!! Dance, theater, music, art, poetry anything that allows for creativity and passionate expression!!
