In 1980 the department of education seized full control over education system. Since that time America has went from global rank of number 1 in math,science and reading to 25th in math 17th in science and 14th in reading. The federal goverment has clearly demonstrated ineptitude in its duties to our children and its people on this issue.
Going forward we cannot continue to be world leaders and inovaters with 3rd world education standards.
States know there citizens best and a one size fits all approach has failed. Its time to stand and take back or education sytem.
