This petition is to raise support of the people to take back control of our economy in 2014. In 1933 the dollar was devalued by the confiscation of our private gold holdings. Shortly after the dollar was no longer backed by gold. This means that our dollar is no longer worth anything other than an I owe you note. We the people need to petition the government to restore the value of the dollar to stop inflation and to push ourselves ahead in the world economy. I would ask everyone before signing this to do some research for yourself and see if this is the correct action or not. We need well informed citizens and if nothing else I want people to know their government and their economy. Bring back the gold standard in 2014 to boost our economy and standing in the world economy.
