Let us join the rest of the modern world and return the legal drinking age to 18.
If we think our youth is responsible enough to join the military and die for our country, then they should be able to drink too.
We no longer live in a puritan society, our laws should reflect what we all know is logical. We should have laws that make sense. College kids should be able to drink. I believe that we should regulate their drinking, but it should not be illegal.
We encourage kids to break the law and get fake IDs precisely because of this law, and once you break the law once you are bound to repeat it. With the threat of terrorism, we should crack down on fake IDs and we can only do that if cops believe that the only reason someone would have a fake ID is for terrorism purposes.
